The Application Of Wei-Jin Style In Fashion Design

Wei Jin Character as a part of Chinese excellent traditional culture,its brilliant culture,free spirit,and the returning to nature,are in line with the spiritual and cultural demands of modern people.Costume is the embodiment of the inner spirit of the individual.People's demand for costume is also changed from basic practicability to the medium of expression of personal thought,emotion and individuality.Therefore,this paper studies the application of fashion design under the style of Wei Jin Character.This paper based on the perspective of style,through the image of the personality represented the Wei Jin Character style,combined with the performance features of appearance,behavior and life style of ancient and modern concrete images,studies the relation between performance features of Wei Jin Character style and fashion design,and explores the design application and methodology studies of the Chinese traditional culture in modern fashion design.The main contents of this paper are divided into three parts.The first part mainly studies the definition,background and connotation of Wei Jin Character style.According to the different value orientation of Wei Jin Character style,three kinds of personality images of elegant,bold and rustic are summarized through analysis.Combined with the specific image,it analyzes the performance features of appearance,behavior and life style of' these three kinds of personality images.The second part,based on the performance features of the style,analyzes the modern people who admire different personality images of Wei Jin Character,and studies the performance of the costume elements and costume styles under the image of specific group.The third part,extractes the performance features of the image of specific group and transformes them into fashion design language,to carry out the fashion design practice.Thus,the study on the application of costume design under the style of Wei Jin Character is completed.It provides new paths and feasibile practical methods for the heritage and application of traditional culture in modern costume design.
