Electric vehicle,as a popular way,is greatly convenient for daily trips.However,vehicle theft has been plaguing most owners.Now,it is a safe and effective means to monitor the state of electric vehicles in real time through the technology of Internet of Vehicles.As for the problems mentioned above,the remote monitoring system of electric vehicles based on GPS and GPRS is developed in this project,which is convenient for the owners to monitor the state of the vehicle in synchronism.The electric vehicle remote monitoring system is divided into two parts: the vehicle terminal and the monitoring platform.The vehicle terminal is composed of the main control unit,the GPS positioning unit and the SIM800 C communication unit.Thus,the achieved location data is uploaded to the monitoring platform according to the custom communication protocol by the way of GPRS communication.The monitoring platform of the system adopts C/S programming framework,and the GUI monitoring interface is developed by MFC.In the monitoring platform,the functions such as real-time vehicle position display and the replay of the location of the vehicle according to time zone are realized.Besides,in order to ensure the safety of driving electric vehicles,remote control functions including remote alarm,all-clear,arrangement of electronic fence control and others are provided for protecting electric vehicles in an all-around way.For more accurate GPS positioning data,this project uses Locate the data status symbol,Euclidean geometry method and positioning factor method to make a filter in vehicle terminal,and the Kalman filter is used in monitoring platform to achieve the optimal estimation for the data which has been processed in vehicle terminal,thereby reducing errors caused by the influence of many interference sources in the signal communication process.To ensure effective algorithm,this paper uses MATLAB respectively conduct the simulation experiments for traditional Kalman filtering and constraint Kalman filtering based on speed.Then,the following conclusion is reached on the basis of the comparison,quantitative analysis of the data after filtering: the constraint Kalman filter based on speed can ensure more accurate GPS positioning data.The vehicle remote monitoring system developed by this project has been put into operation.As of now,the system is stable,and is in sound operation.
