Carbon emissions have gradually become the focus of global attention.At present,carbon emission assessment systems have been preliminarily established.More and more companies and organizations use carbon emissions to estimate the impact of companies on global climate change.In recent years,the environmental pollution problem of the apparel industry has become increasingly prominent,and greenhouse gas emissions are at a relatively high level in the industrial sector.The study of carbon emissions from apparel products starts with the various links in the entire industry chain.Among them,sewing is one of the most complex steps in apparel production,and the carbon emissions from garment sewing links change with changes in product and production organization.Therefore,this paper focuses on the study of the carbon emissions from the garment sewing process.Through the establishment of the carbon emission assessment model and the garment production line simulation model,the assessment and prediction of carbon emissions from the garment sewing segment can be achieved.This article studies the theoretical knowledge related to the subject,including the concept of carbon emissions,carbon emission evaluation standards,carbon emissions calculation methods,and comparative analysis of evaluation standards and calculation methods,select the PAS2050 specification for carbon emissions in the process of sewing production Analysis and evaluation methods.The concept of carbon footprint in apparel sewing is defined and the sources of carbon emissions are identified.The main factors that affect the carbon emissions in this session are the layout,processing equipment,on-site modes of transportation and the number of personnel and their operation according to the garment sewing process skill level.Aiming at the main measure of carbon emissions in sewing process,a carbon emission evaluation model for garment sewing production was constructed.The evaluation objectives and scope of the model were analyzed and explained.Any Logic simulation software is used to simulate the garment sewing production line and build a carbon emission simulation system for garment sewing production line.Taking male trousers as an example,this paper validates the carbon emission model and simulation system of garment sewing production.The production line of male trousers is optimized and the simulation and carbon emission calculation of the optimized production line are carried out.The simulation results show that the daily output and resource utilization rate of the optimized two schemes are higher than the initial scheme,and the optimization effect is more significant.The factors of carbon emission in garment sewing process are researched deeply,and the model of carbon emission calculation and the simulation model of production line are set up.The model and simulation system of carbon emission in garment sewing are validated.This not only provides the basis for calculation of carbon emission in apparel production,but also can be used as a reference for the optimization of production organization programs and apparel production enterprises to monitor and evaluate carbon emissions.
