China Tobacco adopts the tobacco monopoly system,in order to deal with the pressure of joining in WTO and domestic tobacco market has to open gradually which comes from the international tobacco giant.China tobacco industry implements the market-oriented reform and big company and big brand strategy.Since tobacco industry has a close relationship with local tax,various places has local protectionism for local tobacco products.Guangxi Tobacco Industry is late development in China Tobacco Industry,it has problems such as small production size,low brand structure,heavy reliance on the local market,but both local and non-local market share are low.In the case of China tobacco monopoly administration carrying out market-oriented reform and give better policies towards advanced enterprises,how to make further development of Guangxi Tobacco has become an important issue.Base on the competition environment and its own conditions of Guangxi Tobacco,put forward the development strategy of how to plan for the future,how to find new profit growth point,ensure complete the taxes-profit Task,how to expand the real-dragon brand market,improve the competitive advantage,is the main subjects of this paper.This paper represents the development strategy of tobacco industry,base on the related domestic and abroad theory,and the theories of strategic management,analyze of the macro environment,the tobacco industry environment and the competition conditions of Guangxi Tobacco.According to the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats of the company's development,use the SWOT matrix to obtain the relevant strategy matching,and choosing the suitable development strategy of Guangxi Tobacco.This enriched the theoretical basis of Guangxi Tobacco development.The conclusion drawn by this paper is that Guangxi Tobacco Industry should choose three kind of development strategy in the future.First,the product development strategies which aim to reform the existing product and to develop new product that improve the product structure and create a new growth point of cigarette sales.Second,the market development strategy which aim to expand the Guangxi regional market,the national markets and overseas markets.Third,the diversified development strategy which implements diversified development with its own resources that guarantee profit growth and ensure the smooth operation of its own business.
