Since the implementation of the 13th Five-Year Plan,China has accelerated the pace of deepening reform in an all-round way,continuously optimized its economic structure,made breakthroughs in reforms in many important fields and key links,and maintained the general tone of steady progress in national development.However,with the complex environment of international relations,the severe domestic macroeconomic and the rising trend of global tobacco control and other external environmental factors,the development of China's tobacco industry has begun to face many difficulties and challenges.Relying solely on a single cigarette sales can no longer guarantee that tobacco enterprises can cope calmly,and the strategic transformation to diversified development has been forced.From the perspective of enterprise strategic management,firstly,this paper briefly introduces the background and purpose of the research,expounds the theoretical and practical significance of this paper,focuses on the related research on the tobacco industry at home and abroad,and determines the overall idea of this paper and the research methods or technologies that need to be used.Secondly,through the use of PESTEL analysis,Porter's Five Forces Model to analyze the domestic and foreign industry development status,trends and internal and external environment of G Province Tobacco Company.Then,through SWOT analysis of the opportunities,threats and their own strengths and weaknesses,determine the strategic positioning,objectives and guidelines of G Province Tobacco Company,and put forward the implementation of diversified development strategy of G Province Tobacco Company.Finally,specific safeguards are put forward for the implementation of diversification strategy for G Province Tobacco Company.By combining the theory of enterprise strategy with the management practice of tobacco companies,this paper discusses how tobacco companies in G Province can better adapt to the changes of international environment,national policies,market trends and industry situation.It is hoped that this paper can provide some theoretical references on how to choose development strategies,and can also be used as the case which the company or other industry enterprises exploring the future development path can be used for reference.
