As social development has been increasingly perfected in our country, environmental issues have increasingly attracted widespread attention from the society.Among them, air pollution has always been an important issue, and motor vehicle emissions is a big part of air pollution which is one of the main goals that government departments want to control. The realization of quantitative assessment of motor vehicle pollutants is a necessary means to formulate effective methods for controlling pollutant discharge. It is an important method to quantify the pollution emission of motor vehicles through the vehicle simulation pollutant emission model. The basis of the current model of vehicle pollutant emission is to refine the motor vehicle operating conditions and corresponding pollution through large numbers of emission experiments. The emissions results are linked one to one.As the core parameters of the pollutant discharge model, the motor vehicle operating mode is directly related to the pollutant discharge results and is an important basis for accurate emissions and environmental assessment.Under actual circumstances, due to the lack of research on the traffic conditions of the road network, the vehicle operation mode obtained by modeling the default default values often differs greatly from the actual situation, which may result in a large error between the calculated results of the pollutants and the actual values. At present,China's vehicle operating conditions database has not yet been established, and our country's tourism industry is becoming more and more important.Coupled with the complexities of the traffic conditions in tourist cities,we will carry out a research on the pollutant emission characteristics of light-duty vehicles in tourism oriented towns based on operating modes investigations.First of all, obtaining the actual operating conditions of a typical vehicle is the key task of applying the pollutant emission model to the accurate analysis of pollutant emissions from motor vehicles. At the same time, the analysis of operational conditions is of great significance to the road traffic management and research, and pollutants Emission control strategy formulation.Taking the tourist city of Shaoshan City as an example, the data of second-by-second GPS on different road types of local drivers and foreign drivers was investigated.Through statistical analysis, the distribution of operating modes corresponding to different types of drivers and road types was statistically analyzed.Firstly,by fitting the distribution of the speed of the vehicle, qualitatively analyzes the distribution patterns of speeds and their variations of different types of drivers and types of roads;then, from the perspectives of the driver type and the road type, the concentration trend and dispersion of vehicle speed plus acceleration distribution were analyzed. Finally, the distribution of measured operating conditions is introduced into MOVES.Pollutant emission factors are measured using cluster decomposition and clustering methods together. The pollutant emission factors were used to evaluate the accuracy of emissions results from traffic simulation software of TSIS and estimate the impact of traffic management and control strategies on pollutant emission reduction. The study found that directly using the MOVES default distribution of operating conditions, the emission results will produce a large error;in most cases, the distribution of tourism speed in the tourist town is more in line with the normal distribution;there is a difference in distribution of operating conditions of local drivers and foreign drivers in Shaoshan.Compared with foreign drivers, the average speed of local drivers is higher, and the distribution of vehicles is more discrete than the distribution of VSP.The distribution characteristics of different types of drivers in the scenic spots are particularly different. The differences in operating modes lead to a higher emission rate of local drivers on all road types when compared with the tourists, especially on roads of scenic areas. It is discovered that TSIS pollutant emissions were multiples higher than MOVES Model results and about 73-78% of emissions were reduced in August 2016 due to the implement of the tourists transfer project in Shaoshan.
