| This master’s thesis consists of three chapters.In the first chapter,the studies progress,chemical constituents and bioactivities of Swertia punicea.And the second chapter,the studies progress and chemical constituents of Anemone vitifolia.Finally,The experiment of this thesis has been summarized and prospected.With the aim to continue the studies on the chemical constituents and the bioactivities of S.punicea and A.vitifolia.The whole herb of S.punicea were collected from Liangwang mountain,Kunming,Yunnan,People’s Republic of China,and A.vitifolia were collected from Shuitian Township,Mengzi City,Yunnan Province.Two plants were extracted with ethanol,and then purified with modern chromatographic techniques including silica gel column,macroporous resin,MCI,Sephadex LH-20,chromatorex chromatography Silica Gel C18 and HPLC.Through its physical and chemical analysis,spectral analysis of data identified a total of 70 constituents,including 12 new ones.The main chemical constituents of S.punicea are xanthones and iridoids,and the main chemical constituents of A.vitifolia are lignans and lactones.S.punicea is one of the genus of the Gentianaceae family,annual herb,which have a variety of physiological activities such as anti hepatitis,cholecystitis and other symptoms.Three new constituents and 34 known ones have been isolated and identified from its 95% ethanol extract.The 3 new constituents are(1)3,4,5-trimethoxy-1-O-gentiobiosyloxyxanthone,(2)5-hydroxy-3,4-dimethoxy-1-Oprimeverosyloxyxanthone,(3)8-glucopyranosyloxy-2-methylchromone.The 34 known plant species belonging to the family of Ranunculaceae,perennial herb.The genus of Anemone plants is generally applied as Chinese traditional medicine,including the treatment of diarrhea,malaria,dysentery,detoxification insecticide,jaundice.Thirty-three constituents have were isolated and identified from its 95% ethanol extract,including 9 new constituents xanthone glycosides were isolated from whole herb of Swertia punicea.This isolates were evaluated for their anti-inflammatory activity.The results revealed that all of them showed significant anti-inflammatory activity with IC50 values ranging from 0.6 to 6.1 m M,compared with Dexamethasone positive control IC50 value. |
