Study On Cost Control Of EPC Project In Urban Sewage Treatment

In recent years,more and more urban sewage treatment projects have landed.With the EPC general contracting model gradually becoming the mainstream trend in the engineering field,it is increasingly common to select EPC general contractors for the sewage treatment projects.Because the general contractor's awareness of cost control cannot reach a certain height,the important factors related to the cost control cannot be mastered during the construction of the intricate sewage treatment project,which is not conducive to the general contractor's control over the project cost.This thesis takes the general contractor as the starting point and carries out a detailed study of each stage of design,procurement and construction,so as to find the key factors and methods for controlling costs in order to achieve the objective of cost reduction and efficiency increase.First of all,analyzes the status of cost control research of EPC projects at home and abroad,fully recognizes the advantages of the EPC project model and the necessity of increasing the intensity of cost control.At the same time,it elaborates the main principles and methods for the general contractor to carry out cost control.Secondly,starting from the cost composition of urban sewage treatment EPC project,the characteristics of each stage of design,procurement,and construction are elaborated,and a total of 11 main influencing factors for the cost control of the general contractor under each stage are identified.Afterwards,the questionnaires were used to get the experts to score the correlations among the factors,and then the ISM was used to research the relationship between the identified influencing factors.Then get a clear and understandable structure model of the influence factors of total contractor cost control,and determine the most critical influencing factors: "Design solution","Connection between design and each stages","Supplier" and "Quality cost".Finally,a case study was conducted on the sixth sewage treatment EPC project in S city.Starting from the status and problems of project cost control in key influencing factors,a series of improvement measures were put forward for the project,such as strengthen design optimization for multiple times,improve design and interface management at each stage,enhance the scientific nature of supplier selection(TOPSIS method)and control construction quality costs.In order to through improvement measures can improve the out-of-control costs of the general contracting companies and improve their economic benefits.
