| Nowadays,watching movies and TV series has become one of the main ways of entertainment,the costumes of the characters involved in historical movies and TV series having become one of the important factors attracting the audience.Hundreds of movies and TV series are produced every year in China.With the aesthetic taste of the audience improving gradually,the costume designers feel great pressure during the process of design.How to balance the original appearance of historical costumes and our innovation of design? What kind of design styles can stand the severe tests of time and the audience? What kind of technique should be used to realize outstanding innovative ideas? All the issues mentioned-above are well worthy of thinking for costume designers of movies and TV series.The author is engaged in costume-design for movies and TV series for nine years,having acquired an abundance of experiences.The thesis analyzes and studies the characteristics of the aulic costumes of Qing Dynasty,innovative design methods and manufacture craft adopted in movies and television series featuring Qing Dynasty stories on the basis of the practice of costume-design in Bubujingxin,which is a TV play featuring stories taking place in the palace of Qing Dynasty,the theory of costume-design and the requirements of practical design.Finally,through a large amount of examples and analysis,the thesis comes to a systematical summary on how to combine artistic and process innovation organically in costume-design of historical movies and TV series on the basis of exact convey of historical information.The final aim of the innovation of costume-design is to shape the characters as much subjective as possible to the requirements of the drama.The innovation of costume-design for historical movies and TV series has the dual task of the reproduction of history and the innovation of design.It is the combination of artistic innovation and process innovation. |
