Costume And Makeup Of The Palace Artists Of Jiao-fang During Huizong Period In Song Dynasty

In recent years,drama,film and television works based on the court culture of Song Dynasty have been staged one after another.When we sigh about the exquisite and unique costume of the Song Dynasty,the exploration of costume culture of Song Dynasty has always been the original intention of character imaging design.Jiao-fang of the Northern Song Dynasty is an important coordinate in the history of ancient Chinese drama.It involves a variety of performing art forms,so its costume covers many aspects of Song Dynasty society.While inheriting Tang and Five Dynasties,Song Jiao-fang gradually formed its own unique artistic style.The period of Huizong of the Song Dynasty was the beginning of the peak and decline of the Jiao-fang of the Northern Song Dynasty,but it also showed its prosperity.The artists of different departments and colors in the palace Jiao-fang also reflect the modeling characteristics different from the official dress system when they are under the court dress system.They appeared in all kinds of banquets,celebrations and foreign affairs activities of the court,and also showed different performances between elegance and vulgarity.They originated from the people and belonged to the court,but they were also influenced by the two.They dressed themselves up for the drama art and were also dressed up by the art and culture of the court.In this paper,the palace Jiao-fang in this period as a starting point,through the combing and analysis of its shape,explores the connotation behind the costume modeling of the palace Jiao-fang in the late Northern Song Dynasty as well as its internal relationship with the costume performance.
