Research On The Industrial Low-Locked Phenomenon Measurement And Breakthrough From The Perspective Of Global Value Chain

In the era of strong return of global manufacturing,the pillar industries of the manufacturing sector are further strengthened.Since the reform and opening up,China has deeply grasped the historical opportunity to transform the international division of labor from the traditional inter industry division to the intra product division of labor,fully exerts the low cost competitive advantage to occupy the international market rapidly,so as to realize the rapid expansion of the scale of the manufacturing industry,and become the "world factory" the first of the total output value of the output value.However,in the global value chain division system dominated by developed industrial countries,the development path of China's manufacturing industry in the global market through low cost advantages easily leads to the manufacturing industry being locked in low profit and low value-added links,and the Low-Locked Phenomenon is formed under the means of technology monopoly and brand control in developed countries.This is not only an important reason for the "big but not strong" characteristics of China's manufacturing industry at present,but also the core problem that China must break through from the "manufacturing country" to "manufacturing power".Hubei province is a major province of manufacturing industry in China and occupies the core position in a new round of strategic layout.The development of manufacturing industry in Hubei province is also facing low industrial level,low end of industrial chain and lack of technological innovation.Taking the manufacturing industry of Hubei Province as the research object,it is quite representative to study the low-end locking problem of the national industry.Based on this,this paper studies the manufacturing industry in Hubei under the guidance of comparative advantage theory,global value chain theory and path dependence theory.First,on the basis of concluding the Low-Locked Phenomenon manifestation and cause of the industry,the Export Sophistication based on the improved Revealed Comparative Advantage Index is chosen as the main method to measure the Low-Locked Phenomenon of the industry,and the empirical analysis of the 2002-2016 foreign trade data of 998 kinds of commodities in various provinces of China is used to systematically sum up the Low-Locked Phenomenon feature of the manufacturing industry and its subdivision industry in Hubei province.Then,on the basis of the scientific selection of the factors affecting the Low-Locked Phenomenon of the industry,the panel data of 2007-2016 of Hubei's manufacturing industry is used to carry out regression analysis to identify the main factors that affect the Low-Locked Phenomenon breakthrough of the manufacturing industry as a whole,the subdivision industry and the different technical level in Hubei.Finally,based on the results of the two parts of the above empirical analysis,it puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions for Hubei's manufacturing industry to break through the Low-Locked Phenomenon,and provides a reference for the formulation of scientific and effective industrial upgrading policy for Hubei and other provinces throughout the country.In order to achieve the research goal,the research contents are divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly explains the background and significance of the research,the research status at home and abroad,the research contents,the research methods and the technical line.The second chapter is the theoretical logic and formation mechanism of the industrial Low-Locked Phenomenon.This paper sorts out the theoretical research logic of the Low-Locked Phenomenon,and sums up the concept,performance and causes of it.The third chapter is the measurement of the industrial Low-Locked Phenomenon based on the global value chain.Based on the comparison and selection of the Low-Locked Phenomenon measurement methods,the Low-Locked Phenomenon of Hubei's manufacturing industry is measured and analyzed.The fourth chapter is the key breakthrough factor analysis of the industrial Low-Locked Phenomenon.First,the key breakthrough factors of the industrial LowLocked Phenomenon are screened.Then the panel data of 2007-2016 years are used to make a descriptive statistics and regression analysis on the impact variables of the LowLocked Phenomenon breakthrough of the manufacturing industry as a whole,the subdivision industry and the four technology level industry types in Hubei province.It also summarizes the influence of variables and its enlightenment.The fifth chapter is the measures to break the Low-Locked Phenomenon of Hubei's manufacturing industry.The sixth chapter is the summary and Prospect of the study.On the basis of previous studies,the main conclusions and innovations of the paper are summarized,and the research prospect of this paper is expounded.
