Entrepreneurship And High Quality Economic Development

Entrepreneurship is crucial to the development of enterprises and the one of important factors that affect the development of all aspects of society.In recent years,China's economic growth has slowed down.Since 2015,the annual GDP growth rate has been less than 7%.In the past,the marginal effect of factor input and investment on economic growth has weakened.Therefore,promoting high-quality economic development is an inevitable requirement for maintaining sustained and healthy development.High-quality economic development is an important breakthrough in the implementation of sustainable strategies.In the development stage of China's economic transformation,actively promoting the high-quality and sustainable development of the real economy will be the direction and target of the current supply-side reform and industrial restructuring.As an important driving force for social inclusive development,enterprises have multiple functions such as coordination,service and intervention.They play an important role in undertaking the transformation of government functions and realizing market liberalization.And they are an important force for achieving high-quality economic development.Entrepreneurship is the soul of enterprises' innovation and development,and is considered to be the essence of enterprises.How to combine sustainable development with entrepreneurship,that is,the research on sustainable entrepreneurship,is the frontier and hot spot of current academic research.The report of the19 th Party Congress emphasized that deepening supply-side structural reforms should "inspireand protect entrepreneurship,and encourage more social entities to participate in innovation and entrepreneurship".Therefore,it is necessary to study the relationship between entrepreneurship and sustainable development.This paper systematically reviews the research status of entrepreneurship and sustainable development at home and abroad,and finds that domestic and foreign scholars have less research on it as a research whole.Therefore,this article will take the high-quality economic development as the starting point,consider the relationship between entrepreneurship and the three pillar values of sustainable development,and further explore business environment index,environmental regulation,foreign direct investment and economic policy uncertainty factors regulatory effect by using the provincial panel data and international panel data from2005 to 2016 as samples.The empirical results of this paper show that entrepreneurship is closely related to the three pillar values of sustainable development.Specifically,whether in the provincial panel data or international panel data,Innovation Entrepreneurship(IE)and Business Entrepreneurship(BE)can promote economic growth.Economic growth will promote the development of the society,and environmental pollution will reduce the social development,but the IE and BE itself does not have significant effect on social development.In the provincial panel data,there is a mutual promotion relationship between environmental pollution and economic growth,and BE can reduce environmental pollution.However in the international panel data,there is a mutual inhibition relationship between environmental pollution and economic growth,while IE promotes pollution.In addition,this paper considers the regulatory of the entrepreneurial operating environment,environmental regulation and foreign direct investment in the provincial panel data,as well as economic policy uncertainty in international panel data.Also,this article considers the heterogeneity of the relationship between entrepreneurship and the three pillars of sustainable development is based on provincial panel data and international panel data.
