In order to further understand and master the diversity of butterflies in the Gonghe basin and the relationship between butterflies and vegetation, using the line method and the quadrate method,.from May to August in 2016 to 2019,a continuous field survey was conducted on the species and quantity distribution of butterflies and plants in five different habitats(farmland, arid grassland, alpine grassland, arid shrub and alpine shrub)in the Gonghe basin, and the relationship between butterfly diversity and plants was analyzed. The main results are as follows:First,in different habitats,a total of 3,086 butterflies were recorded and 36 species were identified, belonging to 26 genera and 5 families.Among the 36 species of butterflies,21 species are eurytopic species, and 15 species belong to the Palaearctic realm. The survey found no distribution of butterflies in the Oriental realm. From the perspective of zoogeographical division in China, there are only two species endemic to qinghai-tibet area in the Gonghe basin, and other species of butterflies are Shared by multiple regions.Second,a total of 141 species were identified, belonging to 99 genera and 41 families of plants in different habitats, including farmland habitat recorded 47 species, belonging to 40 genera and 18 families;arid grassland habitat recorded 32 species, belonging to 30 genera and 21 families;alpine grassland habitat recorded 43 species, belonging to 32 genera and 23 families;arid shrub habitat recorded 33 species, belonging to 28 genera and 14 families;alpine shrub habitat recorded 44 species, belonging to 30 genera and 19 families.Third, the diversity index(H ')of butterflies and plants in 5 different habitats was analyzed, butterfly diversity index and plant diversity are the same, alpine grassland >farmland > alpine shrub > arid shrub > arid grassland;the evenness index of butterflies: alpine grassland > farmland > arid shrub > alpine shrub > arid grassland. The evenness index of plants: alpine grassland > arid shrub > alpine shrub >farmland > arid grassland.Fourth, the common host plants and honey plants in different habitats were analyzed, and honey plant bloom in June-August,the number of butterflies in these three months was also the highest, indicating that the flowering period of plants had an impact on the distribution of butterflies.Fifth, the analysis of the relationship between vegetation and butterflies shows that the diversity of butterflies is closely related to their habitats, the richer the vegetation type, the more butterfly species and quantity, and butterflies have a certain dependence on host plants and honey plants. The abundance of food sources, host plants and honey plants in habitats is conducive to the survival of butterflies. The distribution of host plants, honey plants and the phenological changes of plants will affect the diversity of butterflies.
