A Study On The Giant Panda Enclosure And Its Climate Adaptive Design

The giant panda is one of the world focus on the protection of endangered species in the object,that is our country unique rare species as to the high speed development of human society.However,deforestation,climate warming,natural disasters and other reasons,makes the giant pandas living environment more bad in order to protect the giant panda,an endangered species,established since 1953 giant pandas in captivity in China space,and assume the endangered species of wild species of breeding research in captivity space,such as climate and health growth of giant panda breeding has extensive influence at the same time also affect the loan shows activity space tour experience and the working efficiency of the staff and management difficulty,etc However,at present,most of the researches on pandas in captivity mainly focus on biological researches such as breeding,foraging,behavioral diseases and so on.Therefore,there are few researches on the design of panda enclosure space from the perspective of climate adaptability,so the research in this paper has great practical significance.In the process of research,this paper uses the theoretical basis of knowledge acquisition in architecture,meteorology,ecology,landscape planning and other disciplines,and combines field investigation,questionnaire survey,behavioral observation,interview,quantitative analysis and other survey methods to obtain rich basic information for research.The research is mainly carried out from the following four parts:Part one: explore the relationship between the captive breeding space and climate adaptability of giant pandas.Starting with the concepts and characteristics of climate,giant panda,panda enclosure space and related climate factors,the interaction between climate and panda enclosure space is clarified,and the research subjects are clarified.Part two: field case studies on panda enclosure in different climatic regions.Based on the local climate,this paper analyzes and discusses the design methods of pandaenclosure and the coping methods of climate adaptability,and summarizes the best design methods,as well as the existing problems and shortcomings from the overall layout,architectural design and landscape environment.It provides reference for the design of panda enclosure.Part three: to establish the design requirements of panda enclosure.Through summarizing literature,field interviews,questionnaires and statistical analysis of data,the author summarized the needs of giant pandas,the needs of breeding and management,and the needs of tourists,so as to guide the follow-up research.Part four: discusses the design points of panda enclosure space and climate adaptability.According to the summary of field research and design requirements,the key points of the design of panda enclosure space and climate adaptability were put forward,including overall planning,architectural design,landscape environment and volume design.The best practices of panda enclosure in different climates were summarized.It is hoped that the research in this paper can provide some new design ideas and guidance for the design of panda enclosure in the future,so as to bring a more comfortable,safe and healthy enclosure environment and survival welfare for the giant panda.
