Taxonomic Research Of The Genus Habroloma Fabricius From China(Coleoptera:Buprestidae:Trachyini)

The genus Habroloma belongs to Coleoptera,Buprestoidea,Buprestidae,Agrilinae,Trachyini.Up to now,there are a total of 289 species(4 subspecies)of genus Habroloma in the world.The species of the genus Habroloma distributed in the Oriental,Palaearctic,Afrotropical,Australasian and Nearctic regions.There are currently 27 species recorded in China.In this dissertation,known species of Habroloma froma China are described,are described in detail from the morphological aspects.A key to sperate the subgenus and species is given,and the differences of some similar species areprovided.This dissertation contains 6 chapters:Chapter 1: The research Background.A brief overview of the research background,taxonomic history of the genus Habroloma,as well as the research progress at home and abroad are given.Chapter 2: The materials and methods.It briefly introduces the specimen sources studied in this thesis,clarifies the relevant literature and data sources,the collected information of some specimens,and the equipment and methods used for specimen processing and dissection.Chapter 3: The morphological characteristics.The main identifiedfeatures of the the head,thorax,and abdomen in the process of species identification are briefly introduced.Chapter 4: The biology.The characteristics and biological characteristics of the genus Habroloma at various stages of its life history are briefly introduced,as well as the degree and harm of the genus Habroloma to agroforestry and some cash crops.Chapter 5: The geographicaldistribution of the genus Habroloma.A brief analysis of the geographical distribution of the genus Habroloma in the world and China are given.Chapter 6: 32 species of Habroloma are known from China,of which 3 new species and 2 new record species are found: Habroloma yuasai kurosawa,1976,H.topali Ho?y?ski,1981,H.disperigutta sp.nov,H.octoimacula sp.nov,H.rubericheata sp.nov.A key to sperate subgenera and species,description of Habroloma species,geographical distribution,citations,specimens examed and diagnosis are provided.Attached to the text are 45 overall pictures,39 characteristic pictures;84 in total.
