Earthquakes occur frequently in China. The earthquakes caused severe paralysis of the transportation system. At the same time, secondary disasters were induced, causing multiple road sections to be buried, and then rescuing work could not be carried out smoothly,so bring greater casualties and economic losses. The above situations illustrate the importance of the transportation system after the earthquake. An evaluation for the seismic resilience of road after earthquake can improve the earthquake rescue efficiency and reduce economic and casualties losses.Based on the road damage data of the Wenchuan earthquake, the earthquake experience vulnerability analysis is used to quantify the post-earthquake recovery time and loss function, and an evaluation method for post-earthquake resilience of road is proposed. The main work content are:1.The definition and research status of earthquake vulnerability and resilience are introduced. And the two concepts are compared.2.Based on the road damage data and damage phenomena of Wenchuan earthquake in 2008,the relevant factors of the earthquake damage of road components(retaining walls, slopes and subgrade pavement)are collected, the statistical results are analyzed macroscopically, and then different damaged modes of road components are classified, the common natural geological conditions and engineering factors of each type of damage are summarized. In view of its natural and engineering factors, the occurrence mechanism of earthquake damage phenomena of road components(retaining walls, slopes and subgrade pavement)under earthquake action is given, which helps to understand the damage characteristics of traffic systems, and road repair method after the earthquake are given.3.Based on the road damage data of the Wenchuan earthquake, the appropriate ground motion attenuation model is selected, and the PGA isoseismal map of the Wenchuan earthquake is given, the road seismic vulnerability analysis is completed, and the vulnerability curve is given.Probability of destruction is obtained from both the whole road and road components perspective. In addition, the two estimation methods of dual parameter estimation in seismic vulnerability analysis are compared, and their shortcomings are analyzed.4.Evaluation models for the seismic resilience of road after earthquake are established with recovery time and loss of function as the main parameters, and the meaning of the parameters of resilience are elaborated.Based on the damage probability obtained from the seismic vulnerability analysis, from both the whole road and road components(blocks Soil wall, slope and roadbed)perspective, the recovery time and loss of function are quantified, the calculation formula of the resilience index are given according to the quantized parameters, and the significance of the calculation formula is explained. The section of G213 Dujiangyan to Yingxiu Town is used for an example. The evaluation method for the seismic resilience of road after earthquake is used to analyze it,and the actual condition is compared to verify the operability and rationality of the evaluation method for post-earthquake resilience of road.
