Road network is not only an important component of the lifeline systems,but also plays a critical role in earthquake relief and reconstruction after a disastrous earthquake.Quick and accurate assessment of road engineering seismic damage can provide reference information for the emergency rescue work and the rational distribution of the manpower and material resources to reduce casualties and property losses in the disaster area.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the damage of the road network after the earthquake and the impact of building collapse.The main research of this paper is as follows:1.The background and significance of the study are discussed.The current situations of the research of road seismic damage and impact of the collapse of the buildings are introduced.2.The seismic damage of roadbed,retaining wall and slope in the Wenchuan Earthquake are separately analyzed.The correlation between road seismic damage factors and road seismic damage is statistically analyzed.3.According to analysis of road seismic damage,the reasonable earthquake damage index is chosen.Based on Wenchuan earthquake road seismic damage data,a new road seismic damage assessment method is established with consideration of the impact of building collapse.4.The passage probability calculated by road seismic assessment method can be used as the reliability index.Based on the reliability index,minimum path reliability evaluation method and overall quick road network evaluation method are established.The Karamay district is used as an example to test the method.
