Abstract/Summary:
Earthquake is a sudden and destructive natural disaster,which brought about heavy losses to our national economy and caused severe damage to the society.The main purpose of the Earthquake Resistance and Disaster Prevention is to plan more reasonable more reasonable and organize more efficient post-disaster emergency measures.Geographic Information System is a kind of specific spatial data system.It is a data management system with Information System Spatial Professional Form.This computer system is designed to centralization,storage,operation and display geographic information data.In this paper,an information system design is proposed for Earthquake Resistance and Disaster Prevention Planning.This design adopts GIS technique and combines characteristics of Guiyang central city and revision of Guiyang Earthquake Resistance and Disaster Prevention Planning.This system can analyze and process Large Spatial Geographic Data based on GIS,and also can obtain analysis result.This result provides a powerful technical support for government planning or emergency rescue after disaster.This paper introduces and analyses Guiyang Central City Earthquake Resistance and Disaster Prevention Planning Information System based on GIS in detail.Five layers framework design is used in this system design.The related function of the system is designed according to the system’s requirement analysis,it contains platforms such as data management,aided planning,result demonstration and system management.In all of platforms,aided planning is the most important one,it helps user planning Earthquake Resistance and Disaster Prevention information quickly depend on GIS.Aided planning platform includes a lot of subfunctions,such as Land Use Assessment,Lifeline Planning and Prediction of Secondary Disasters etc.At last,this paper introduces how to implement function.This system adopts a popular designing methods combines C/S and B/S,this design separates different system function which not only make operators more convenient but also raise working efficiency.Spatial Geographic Data processing use ArcGIS series which is a very stable and mature platform.ArcGIS possesses powerful spatial analysis ability and data processing ability,which realizes the analysis and management of spatial data.
