Helice tientsinensis, which is widely distributed in Bohai Bay,coastal areas of Guangdong and Fujian Province in China and the west coast of North Korea. It is the dominant species in northern coastal ecosystems. Some research identified the Red beach ecosystem of Panjin is degrading rapidly, but what reasons are not be proved. In our research,we make a further research in feeding habits and behavior of the H.tientsinensis combined with methods of molecular biology and field investigation. The research contents are as follows:1.Research on intake and feeding selection of two species of Suaeda heteroptera by Helice tientsinensisWe have a research on intake and feeding selection of two species of Suaeda heteroptera which influenced by different quality of Helice tientsinensis by simulating lab test. The results showed that there was no significant difference existed.Otherwise, green of Suaeda heteroptera was firstly chosed by Helice tientsinensis compared to red(P<0.05).2.Research on behavior of Helice tientsinensis in response to environmentResults of field tests showed Helice tientsinensis unlike to live under light.Combined with experimental system in our lab,we found they are not sensitive to color.Meanwhile, they liked to live in area of black with shelter.3.Effects of light on immune response and transcriptional expression of redox gene in Helice tientsinensisReal-time quantitative PCR was used to analyze expression of some major genes including Superoxide dismutase(SOD),catalase(CAT),peroxidase(POD),tumor necrosis gene-?(TNF-?),mitogen-activated protein kinase(P38)and Toll-like Receptor(TLR)in the sputum tissue of Helice tientsinensis under 1500 lx light conditions at 0,12,24,48 and 72 h.The results showed that the expression levels of the six genes in the control group were relatively stable. In the light experiment group, the five genes were different from the control group, and the SOD and TLR genes reached the highest at 12 h,and were significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05);the CAT and POD gene expression significantly higher at 48 h than the control group(P<0.05);the SOD and CAT genes were significantly higher than the control group at 72 h;the P38 reached the highest at 24 h and was significantly higher than the control group(P <0.05);TNF-? did not change significantly in the amount of gene expression during the experiment, and the gene expression was same compared to control group. It is concluded that the light is closely related to functions of the five genes SOD,CAT,POD,P38 and TLR in H.tientsinensis.
