Taking Tieshangang as an example.Investigating and analyzing the main engineering geological problems in the reclamation area(including rock and soil structure type,physical and mechanical properties,sedimentary environment,groundwater action,and wave action),by the means of participating in actual engineering projects such as geotechnical exploration,design,construction,monitoring,foundation treatment in different reclamation areas(including indoor soil physical properties analysis,the Beating Experiments,the Dynamic Compaction test,the Static Load test),on the basis of investigating the geological environment conditions of Tieshangang.At the same time,analyzing the type of foundation combination,foundation deformation,stability,bearing capacity and its influencing factors of reclamation.Finally,combined with the expert scoring system,the analytic hierarchy process is used to analyze the main controlling factors affecting the quality of reclamation projects,and provide technical support for Guangxi reclamation and coastal engineering survey,design,construction and monitoring.The main research results and conclusions of the paper are as follows:(1)The investigation found that the most important engineering geological problems in the reclamation area were geo-sedimentary environment,genesis,lithology,physical and mechanical properties,groundwater action,and waves action.Taking Tieshangang as an example,systematically dividing the engineering geological standard sequence of Tieshangang into four categories and 14 sub-layers: modern landfill,modern marine deposit,coastal deposit and shallow sea deposit,which provides experience for geotechnical engineering investigation and design in reclamation area,and also provides method for quality evaluation of reclamation engineering.(2)Through the study of engineering characteristics and foundation treatment of reclamation foundation(including compaction test,dynamic compaction test,static load test and foundation finite element analysis),the basic characteristics of deformation of reclamation foundation,effective method of foundation treatment and its influencing factors are analyzed,combined with geotechnical engineering expert experience,and moderately consider the nature of Guangxi coastal ecological environment impact,AHP is used to find that the main factors that affecting the quality of reclamation project are filler type,reclamation mode,construction method,sedimentary dynamic environment of reclamation area,etc.The proposed reclamation method has important guiding significance for the implementation of reclamation projects in the future.
