As the treasure of the forest resources,ancient trees are a kind of non-renewable natural and cultural heritage with important economic,ecological,scientific,cultural and landscape value.This paper takes ancient trees in Quanzhou county as the research object.Firstly,based on the data of the second census of ancient trees in Quanzhou county,it conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis on the current situation of ancient trees in Quanzhou county.Then,ArcGIS spatial analysis and classification of tree age were used for sampling to determine sampling ancient trees.And landscape evaluation of ancient trees is carried out by using Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP).The main research results are as follows:(1)Based on the survey data shows that there were 1897 old trees belonging to 44 species,26 families and 39 genera,many of which are third-level ancient trees with a pyramided structure.And Cinnamomum camphora are the major tree species that constitute the old tree resources in Quanzhou.There are 7 kinds of state-level key protected tree species,with a total of 1280 plants,accounting for 67.47%of the total plants.Most ancient trees can be protected and managed by the state or the collective.Ancient trees are in good growth condition,they are mainly concentrated in rural streets and have a close relationship with human beings.There are abundant landscape resources of ancient trees that can be excavated.However,they are mainly distributed in a scattered pattern,which is difficult to manage and maintain.The ornamental features of ancient trees are mainly shape and stem,among which 15 species such as Sophora japonica,Cladrastis platycarpa and Camptotheca acuminata have the best ornamental effect,which can be used as the backbone of landscape greening in Quanzhou county.There are many kinds of ancient tree culture resources in Quanzhou county,but the quantity is small and the circulation is low.(2)By taking ArcGIS spatial analysis sampling as the main method and tree age grade sampling as the auxiliary method,165 ancient trees,belonging to 18 species,18 genera and 15 families,were determined to be sampled,including 4 Class super,34 Class ?,7 Class ? and 122 Class ?ancient trees.(3)In Quanzhou county ancient tree landscape evaluation index system,the weight of 15 indexes in the index layer is ranked as follows:National key protected tree species>Tree age level>culture>Ecological function>Rare degree of tree species>Posture>Coordination with habitat>color = Aspect change>Growth vigor>DBH>Interference degree>The height of tree>Fragrance>Crown breadth.The results show that the three indexes of national key protected tree species,tree age and culture are the main factors to determine the ancient tree landscape.However,the crown width is at the end of the row,which reflects that the ancient crown width has not aroused high attention and attention.(4)Through the sampling of 165 ancient trees for landscape evaluation.The landscape of ancient tree is given priority to with three-level,average score was 2.7884.The overall level of ancient tree landscape was low.According to the analysis of the ancient tree landscape in three towns,the overall landscape of ancient trees in Caiwan town is better.From the perspective of tree age grade,the older the tree age grade is,the higher the ancient tree landscape grade is.According to the score of each index,the score of ecological function is the highest,and the interference degree and culture are low,and some indicators have influence.(5)In view of the existing problems of ancient tree resources in Quanzhou county,the following Suggestions are put forward:Clean up the debris around ancient trees and improve the growing environment of ancient trees;Establishing special funds for protection and using science and technology for protection;Beautify the surrounding environment of ancient trees to improve the overall landscape effect;An ancient tree information website was set up to call on the whole people to participate in the protection.
