Study On The Landscape Pattern Dynamic Of The Main Town Of Quanzhou City

Dynamic change of landscape pattern in the main city of Quanzhou city andinextricably linked to the economic development of the region. Since the reform andopening up, Quanzhou has become one of the fastest growing region in economicdevelopment in Fujian Province. accompanied by the stimulation of rapid economicdevelopment and population expansion, the scale of Quanzhou city had a continuousexpansion. the urban landscape pattern also occurred in a huge change. The articleanalysis the landscape pattern of the main town of Quanzhou city, based on theprinciple of landscape ecology, the use of remote sensing and geographic informationsystems technology. Then the article provides a scientific theoretical basis for the theQuanzhou future urban development planning, and a scientific basis for decisionmaking to promote the rational use of natural resources in the main town ofQuanzhou, and the harmonious development of the natural and socialThe article based on the General principles, heterogeneity principles, landscapefeatures and ecological processes consistent principles, practical principles oflandscape ecological classification，determined to divide the main city of Quanzhoulandscapes into forest landscape, grassland landscape, arable landscape, urban andrural construction landscape, wetlands, water landscape, bare landscape. And inaccordance with the definition of landscape types, then use ENVI software tointerprete and class the1994,2002,2010’s remote sensing image of main town ofQuanzhou city, and access landscape types data. And then using Fragstats3.3softwareto analyze the resulting landscape classification map, calculate on landscape typesand level landscape pattern indices. based on the analysis result to analyze currentlandscape pattern of the main town of Quanzhou city and its dynamic change of in1994~2010.The driving force of the landscape pattern change can be natural and humanfactors. by using the principal component analysis mathod, the article analysised thehuman driving factors that may affect the landscape pattern of the main town ofQuanzhou, then get the population-economic-investment factor and industry structure as two main human driving factors. The landscape pattern is also affected byurban construction development, government planning, and other factors.In the last, the article combines current landscape pattern of the main town ofQuanzhou city with Forman’s "landscape with combination of Central anddecentralized structure", to make recommendations for optimizing the currentlandscape pattern.
