In this paper, the effect of coal mining on the physical and chemical properties of soil is analyzed based on the theory of ecology, soil science and statistics through the method of field survey sampling and indoor measurement and analysis.Soil total nitrogen, total carbon, carbon to nitrogen ratio,PH value, nitrate nitrogen, ammonium nitrogen, available phosphorus, available potassium ten indicators.According to the collected data, the paper collates and analyzes it to provide reference for local soil reclamation and herdsmen compensation. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Coal mining impact on the soil side as a whole, through the comparison analysis of zone two:the closer distance coal core area of sample area, the soil affected by coal mining, the greater the effect on artificial grassland, the worst 0 km take second place; According to the analysis of the change of distance gradient,as the distance from the core area of coal mining gets farther and farther, most indexes show a trend of gradual improvement.Such change is not obvious at 1.5km,and each index gradually tends to be normal at 3km,which indicates that the soil within 1.5km will be affected by coal mining.(2)The influence of coal mining on the physical properties of surrounding soil:the water content of the natural grassland is generally smaller than that of the control area, while the water content of the control area is generally smaller than that of the artificial grassland;A large amount of groundwater is extracted from coal mining, resulting in a large amount of groundwater flowing to the mining area.As a result, the location closer to the coal mine has a higher water content. At the same time, the water content is the lowest at 1.5km,and it starts to rise at 3km.The change of soil bulk density mainly showed that the soil bulk density of natural grassland and artificial grassland was significantly higher than that of the control area at the same level, and this phenomenon was still not significantly improved within the range of 3km,indicating that coal mining had a greater impact on the surrounding soil bulk density.(3)Influence of coal mining on chemical properties of surrounding soil:in terms of PH value,PH value of natural grassland at Okm is at the same level as that of artificial grassland, because it is close to the coal mine area. With the increase of the distance, the PH value of natural grassland decreased gradually, and was equal to that of the basic control area at 1.5km,presenting a normal state. In terms of total carbon, total nitrogen and carbon-nitrogen ratio of soil, the overall change trend of total carbon and total nitrogen content is basically the same. The change trend of soil C/N value is gradually decreased with the increase of distance, indicating that the microbial decomposition rate is getting faster and faster.(4)Influence of coal mining on other soil chemical indexes:the influence of coal mining on soil nitrate nitrogen and ammonium nitrogen is shown as follows:when there is no interference of coal mining, values of the two soil layers are basically the same;when there is interference of coal mining, values of soil layers 0-10cm and 10-20cm differ greatly.Under the interference of coal mine, the value of ammonium nitrogen is lower than that of control area, and the value of artificial grassland is at the lowest level, indicating that coal mining has a great influence on the content of ammonium nitrogen in soil. The effects of coal mining on soil available p and available k are as follows:in terms of available p,coal mining has a great impact on the content of available p in 0-10cm soil, and the available p in soil layer of 10-20cm between different plots is basically at the same level. The change trend of available phosphorus in natural grassland was the highest at 0km and the lowest at 0.5km,and then it gradually recovered. In terms of available potassium, the change of available potassium in soil layer of 10-20cm is not obvious, and there is a significant difference in the value of available potassium in soil layer of different depths, which is most obvious in the control area. The content of available potassium in soil of artificial grassland was at the lowest level, and the change trend of natural grassland was first decreased and then increased, and it was closest to the control area at 3km and tended to be normal.
