This study showed restoration process of Panji Coal mine which is located in Huainan City,Anhui Province. The land are categorized into different types such as farmland, wasteland, vegetable and woodland. We investigated the physiochemical properties and enzymatic activities of soil ecosystem associated with vegetation process. However, our results showed that that There was a relationship between reclamation period and phosphorous contents likewise, longer the reclamation period, than lower the total phosphorus contents in soil but we have found the organic matter contents were higher in 0-20 cm soil during 2013 yean Meanwhile, during the 2015.we observed that the total phosphorus contents significantly increased in 20-40 cm soil.Hence, the soil organic matter content was significantly lowered.in this period.Furthermore, urease activity was significantly higher in 0-20 cm as compared to 20-40cm during the period of 2013 and 2015.Nevertheless,the alkaline phosphatase activity was significantly higher in 0-20 cm soil than that of 20-40 cm soil in all three years, similarly, the activity of urease and alkaline phosphatase was significantly increased in 0-20 cm soil as compared to other years. Our results also revealed that the cultivation of plants such as corn, sesame, soybean, alfalfa and sudangrass had significantly increased the contents of organic matter and total nitrogen in the topsoil(115%-185%,120%-228%and 61%-152%).Respectively.Among these plants, both plant species sesame and soybean played a key role for the improvement of surface soil nutrients in the reclamation area. Therefore,Sesame and soybeans have effectively increased the enzymatic activity of invertase and alkaline phosphatase in the topsoil, while soybean only increased the urease activity in the topsoil. We concluded that both plants soybean and sesame have the potential to enhance the soil nutrients contents as compared to corn, alfalfa and sudangrass. Moreover, the Cu contents were observed significantly lower than other crops in the topsoil of corn plant. However, soybean plant have Cd contents less than 0.2 mg/Kg in the topsoil w,Similarly, among these plants, alfalfa had higher contents of Pbl.2 mg/kg,(1.2 mg/kg).while,Sudangrass showed more As contents 1(83 mg/kg)respecytively.Moreover,microbial community analysis showed a significant positive relationship that are playing a pivotal role in the reclamation/restoration of mine tailing. Our high-throughput sequencing results showed that about 10 bacterial phyla with the highest mean relative abundance were displayed including:Proteobacteria,Actinobacteria,Firmicutes,Bacteroidetes,Acidobacteria,Chloroflexi,Gemmatimonadet es,Cyanobacteria,Verrucomicrobia and Planctomycetes.Remarkably,6 fungal community were also found in highest relative abundance such as Ascomycota,Basidiomycota,Zygomycota,Chytridiomycota,Glomeromycota and Rozellomycota. Therefore,Grassland has better control effect on soil erosion than forest land, and farmland has the worst control effect on soil erosion.
