With the rapid development of society and economy, the mental health problems of students are becoming more and more prominent, which has aroused wide attention of the society. As the future of our country, the mental health status of college students is especially worthy of attention. Many universities in China have conducted a general survey on the mental health of college freshmen for many years. The practice shows that mental health survey is an effective measure to carry out mental health care for college students. This paper conducted mathematical statistical analysis on the psychological health measurement data of freshmen from 2015 to 2017 in anqing normal university.SPSS22.0 was mainly used to make statistics on the census data, and covariance analysis was used to test the main effect. This article with a chi-square test to check for independence between different categories of factors, using T test to analyze the differences between UPI score in order to analyze the related factors affecting the UPI total score, multiple linear regression model is established, and then use UPI screening results as the dependent variable, with time, body symptoms, schizophrenia, depression and neurosis multiple binary classification Logistic regression analysis for the independent variables. The study found that the mental health level of freshmen increased year by year, the mental health level of male students was higher than that of female students, and the mental health level of students of different majors was significantly different, comparatively speaking, the rural students were more likely to have psychological problems than the suburban students. Finally, the results are summarized and suggested.
