| Analysing the quality of the paper is an important part of the work of quality about the school teaching management, it has a great significance for guidancing the teaching work and improving the quality of teaching. The traditional evaluation about paper quality are mostly from the level of theory and the level of professional study about teaching evaluation. Recently, the paper quality assessment gradually turns from the qualitative analysis to the quantitative analysis. And there are many literatures about using mathematical statistics method to evaluate the paper quality. These literatures mostly do the following two aspects of work, first, discussing if the scores follow a normal distribution. Secondly, discuss the quantitative methods of the paper quality evaluation indexes, such as reliability, validity, difficulty, coverage, discrimination, etc. And give a case about the analysis.This article is on the basis of the previous research, studying by students’test scores. First give more test methods of testing if the scores has a normal distribution, you can select the most appropriate test method depending on the diffident situation. Secondly, the paper established a mathematical statistics methods to a more in-depth analysis and comparison about the four indexes of paper quality:reliability, validity, difficulty, distinction, and finds the most situation quantitative analysis method of the four indexes. And use the Central China Normal University,2006grade Mechanical and Electrical Integration’Higher Mathematics" final exam as an example to introduce the calculation of the four indexes by SAS programs. This gives the using of SAS software in paper quality evaluation, and use the programs to calculate is faster. This is one of the characteristics of this article.Finally, this article give a new approach about the quantitative analysis on the paper quality, that is giving a score to the quality of every paper. And as the higher mathematics papers an example to introduce the way of seeking the papers quality score function, and the specific program of the comprehensive evaluate the paper quality. This program can calculate the score of the quality. This program can calculate the score of the quality more rapid, judge and compare which paper quality is better more intuitive, you can also get the level of rank according to the score. This method achieved good results in the application, and provides a strong basis and direction for the future preparation of questions and improve the quality of teaching.
