The issue of climate change began to attract people's attention in the 1970 s.At first,climate change was just a category of environmental science,but with the beginning of climate governance,it was gradually incorporated into the issue of international politics.Nowadays,the issue of climate has been involved in politics,economy,science and technology,law and other aspects,and tackling climate change has become a common problem that the whole world needs to face.Since the UN climate talks began in 1988,global climate governance has gone through 30 years of development and achieved many important results.In China since the start of the climate governance is involved,from the initial passive to limited participation,cooperation and to promote together,and the contribution to the current responsible,due to the different stages of the basic national conditions,comprehensive national strength,to the climate problem cognition,national interests and international responsibility comprehensive considerations of different,China's participation in climate governance also gradually increased.With the rapid development of China's economy,its voice and influence in global climate governance are gradually increasing,and the international community is paying more and more attention to China's role in climate governance.As a responsible major country and the largest developing country in the world,China needs to shoulder more international responsibilities.As an important part of non-traditional security,China's responsibility in climate governance is indispensable.While assuming responsibilities and presenting the image of a great power,China is also faced with various challenges.After the United States withdrew from the Paris agreement,the international community expected China to play a leading role,but there were also many doubts.In particular,as the political factors of climate governance have become increasingly prominent,climate governance has long been associated more with global governance and even the international order.The withdrawal of the United States also greatly affects the compliance and implementation of climate governance.As the world's second largest carbon emitter,the withdrawal of the United States leads to the lack of confidence of theentire international community in participating countries in climate governance,and also affects the achievement of the goals of the Paris agreement as a whole.At the same time,China's domestic economic model and the current situation of carbon emissions,whether China can achieve the emission reduction target of its own contribution,these are the challenges that China will face in the current climate governance.In the face of these challenges,China needs to strengthen communication with other parties in the future and promote climate governance in light of its own situation.And to accelerate the domestic low-carbon economy transition and low-carbon technology research and development,to help developing countries,for developing countries to provide emission reduction start-up funds and technology;We should build the image of a responsible major country and shoulder some international responsibilities.In this article,through combing Air China in the United Nations framework convention on climate,the Kyoto protocol,the Kyoto era,new era,the Paris agreement four times the development of China's action performance,combining with historical facts analysis of China's participation in climate dynamics,and summarizes the current climate governance in China there may be a challenge and an opportunity,at the same time,according to these challenges,the feasibility of China's strategic choice is given.In the first part of this paper,the process of China's participation in global climate governance is summarized and elaborated according to the degree of participation in different periods.In the second part,based on the background of China's participation in climate governance and China's development at that time,the reasons for China's participation in climate governance are analyzed.The third part mainly analyzes the domestic and foreign factors,and analyzes the challenges that China may encounter when participating in climate governance after the Paris agreement.The fourth part elaborates the feasible strategic choice for China to face these challenges in the future.
