In the study, selecting the core area of riparian zone of Hui River National Nature Reserve as the study area, field surveys were conducted in July-August 2015 and June-August 2016 to determine the study plots.Three vertical sample zones were set according to the difference of moisture conditions caused by the distance from the riparian zone. And according to plant species, five typical plant community plots of Juncus effuses community,Typha orientalis community,Phragmites communis community,Suaeda glauca community and Carex spp.community were set.Using the sample survey method combined with laboratory experiments, the plant composition, diversity characteristics, soil spatial distribution characteristics and the relationship between the plant and soil factors are studied The research results are as follows:1?Plant composition of the riparian zone in Hui River Wetland:Vertical sample zones had 54 species of vegetations belonging to 23 families and 44 genera, and the plant composition was dominated by Gramineae,Compositae,Rosaceae and legumes. The Juncus effuses community was rich in plant composition, with 5 families and 13 plants, while the Suaeda glauca community had a plant of Suaeda.2?Plant diversities of the riparian zone in Hui River Wetland:The Shannon-Wiener diversity index, the Simpson dominance index and the richness index of the vertical strips decreased with increasing distance from the river. The change trend of the Pielou evenness index was opposite.Among the different typical plant communities,Shannon-Wiener diversity and Simpson dominance referred to the highest in Juncus effuses community, and the lowest in the s Suaeda glauca community. The Pielou evenness index was the lowest in the Juncus effuses community and the highest in the Typha orientalis community.Coefficient of variation of Shannon-Wiener diversity index in Phragmites communis community and Pielou evenness index in Juncus effuses community were 0.21 and 0.19,respectively,which were moderately variable. But the coefficient of variation of the plant diversity index of the other three plant communities was less than 0.1.3?Soil characteristics of the riparian zone in Hui River Wetland:The soil water content, soil total nitrogen and total phosphorus content of the vertical strip showed a significant downward trend with the increasing distance from the river, while the soil organic matter increased first and then decreased.Soil alkaline phosphatase and urease activities increased first and then decreased again and gradually increased with the increasing distance from the river. The soil water content of the Juncus effuses community, the Phragmites communis community and the Carex spp.community was the largest. The content of total nitrogen, organic matter and total phosphorus in the soil of Typha orientalis community was the highest. The available phosphorus content of Suaeda glauca community was significantly higher than that of other plant communities, but the soil total phosphorus and ammonium nitrogen content were the lowest.Variation coefficient of organic matter and total phosphorus in Suaeda glauca community and Carex spp.community, soil available phosphorus in Juncus effuses community and Phragmites communis community, soil total nitrogen, total phosphorus and ammonium nitrogen in Typha orientalis community and soil total nitrogen in Juncus effuses community was greater than 0.1,which was moderately variable.4?Interaction between plants and soil of the riparian zone in Hui River Wetland:Correlation analysis and redundancy analysis of vertical strips showed that soil total nitrogen content, total phosphorus content and soil water content affected the distribution of plant species and diversity, and soil total phosphorus was the dominant factor affecting plant species.Organic matter was the main factor affecting plant dominance.Alkaline phosphatase and urease had different effects on plant dominance, but had little effect on the Shannon-Wiener index,Pielou evenness index and species richness of plants.Plant community correlation analysis and redundant analysis showed that soil available phosphorus was the dominant factor affecting vegetation community diversity distribution and community dominance, and had no effect on Pielou evenness index.Other soil nutrient contents had little effect on vegetation community diversity distribution and community dominance.Soil urease and invertase were the main factors affecting the diversity distribution of vegetation communities.
