In this study, make the riparian community in the Sino-Singapore Eco-city as the research object, by field investigation and data collection, identify the main components of the Sino-Singapore Eco-city riparian vegetation types of configuration, use the plant ecology method to analyze the community characteristics under different vegetation types. And select six typical artificial vegetation types, analyze the impact of changes in soil moisture and carbon and nitrogen. The main results are as follows:1. The species of natural vegetation plant communities is single in the study area, is mainly herbaceous, the community structure is simple. The species of artificial plant vegetation is richly, Plant species and diversity near the waterfront artificial vegetation are less than the slope of the shore and on-shore artificial vegetation.2. In the survey of plant communities, there are three main community structure artificial vegetation plant communities:tree, shrub and grass; tree and grass; shrub and grass. With a combination of tree, shrub and grass structure mainly, reflects the characteristics of near-natural plant communities. In the artificial vegetation plant communities, the species diversity of shrub layer is higher than arbor layer, the evenness distribution of species in arbor layer and shrub layer have little difference.3. Significantly lower than other seasons, the soil moisture of Sophora japonica, Populus tomentosa, Salix matsudana, Tamarix and natural grassland during the dry season. Soil moisture content of all types of vegetation in the rainy season there is a clear upward trend. Amorpha forest soil moisture is higher than other vegetation types. The rainy season, the performance of the supplement natural rainfall forest soil moisture in the0-40cm of surface soil, vegetation type below the60cm layer of soil moisture more close to the stable level20%-25%. 4. Relative to natural grassland, establishment of artificial vegetation belts can effectively increase the content of organic carbon and nitrogen in forest soils. However, affected by plant species, community structure, density, significance level is slightly different. Soil organic carbon and total nitrogen content in six typical artificial vegetation types both emerge gradually decreased with soil depth. But there is a certain difference in the decrease amplitude.
