The Distribution Difference Of IL-12 Family Polymorphisms Between Zhuang Population And Han Population

Objective: By analyzing the distribution differences of interleukin-12 family polymorphism between Guangxi Zhuang population and Han population,this study provided a theoretical basis for further exploration of whether there was a regional association between diseases which associated with IL-12 family polymorphism.Methods: This study included 429 Guangxi Han healthy individuals and254 Guangxi Zhuang healthy individuals.DNA was extracted by the RelaxGene Blood DNA System DNA kit,and SNP genotyping were conducted by SequenomMassArraySystem.Results: We found that the frequency of EBi3 rs4740 AA genotype in Han population was lower than those in Zhuang population(18.9% vs.26.8%,p=0.034),andEBi3 rs4740 A allele was lower in Han healthy subjects than in Zhung healthy subjects(44.9% vs.51.8%,p=0.014),while there were no significant differences of rs17855750 、 rs181206 、 rs40837 in IL-27p28,rs428253、rs393581in EBi3、rs2243115、rs568408、rs582054、rs583911 in IL-12p35,rs3212227 、 rs56167332 in IL-12p40 between Zhuang and Han healthy group.Conclusion: The frequencies of EBi3 rs4740 alleles and genotypes in Guangxi Zhuang population were higher than those in Han population.There were statistical differences between them.The distribution of alleles and genotypes between the two ethnic groups may be related to the genetic characteristics and the occurrence of some regional diseases in Guangxi.
