The traditional laser marking control system is mainly composed of an industrial control computer and a board card.The control system has a complex structure,large volume,poor flexibility,and high cost.The development of embedded computer technology provides a solution for the miniaturization and flexibility of laser marking control systems.The main research purpose of this paper is to develop the embedded laser marking control board,whih can be used to mark Data Matrix,and improve the work efficiency of laser marke system.This paper mainly did four research work.An embedded laser marking control board was designed in this parper.The STM32F407 microcontroller was used as the control core to construct the driving circuit.The embedded computer system was used to drive the galvanometer and the laser.Through the communication interface,the embedded computer system can work cooperatively with multiple devices and improve the flexibility of the marking system.In this paper,we establish the Fast Laser Mark System model for ECC-200 Data Matrix.The Fast Laser Mark System model is made up of padding code data sheet,Galois Field data sheet,error correction code generation coefficient data sheet,and Data Matrix pattern arrangement data sheet.By querying the data tables of the model,the redundancy calculation is removed and the efficiency of the Data Matrix generation algorithm is improved.Practices shows that the efficiency of the algorithm after using the model can generally be improved by about 55%.A laser marking speed model and a grayscale model of the marking area were established.According to the models,we can adjust the laser marking speed and the grayscale of the marking area by controlling the distance between the laser marking pixels.According to the model,the optimal distance of the center point of the laser marking pixels is calculated to be 55 um,which makes the laser marking process of the Data Matrix has a higher speed,and the laser marking area has a higher gray level.A region-filled scan path for the Data Matrix is proposed,and the connected region formed with the same color cells in the Data Matrix graph is extracted,and the connected region is used as a marking unit,so that the marking process only needs to scan the connected region.The laser marking path is shortened,and a laser is switched on only one time for each connected area.In the marking path experiment using the area filling principle,the Data Matrix pattern of the same size is marked,and the marking efficiency of the area-filled laser marking path can be increased by about 60%,compared to the scanning path of the dot matrix.At present,the laser marking card has been successfully developed,and the relevant laser marking software is written according to the principle described in this parper.The card is currently undergoing Data Matrix marking on the car horn housing provided by the company.The equipment operation is in good condition.The engraving effect is stable.
