According to the characteristics of the Hetao area chlorine saline soil type,in this article,eight kinds of polymer adsorption materials is studied through indoor experiment.By comparing their effect of ion adsorption passivation in soil salt base solution and the static adsorption effect in the soil,we screened out the improved materials which could be used to adsorb and passivate soil salt ions such as Na+,Cl-and SO42-,to reduce the salt stress,to safeguard the crops to survive the period of germination,seedling,etc.Then,we studied the effect of optimized material ratio on the improvement of saline-alkali soil,so as to provide a basis for the further formation of the salt-alkali soil improvement formula in Hetao area.The results showed that:1.In high concentration saline solution with a salt content of 1.72g/L,the 001x7,D001,201×4 and MB-10 ion exchange resins could maintain ion exchange and adsorption capacity.2.Adding 201×4 strongly alkaline styrene anion exchange resin to the soil in the dosage of 2%could significantly reduce the content of soil soluble salt,and it had obvious adsorption and passivation effect on Na+,Cl-and SO42-.However,since the material was alkaline,its application would also increase the pH of the soil.3.Using acidic materials in combination with it could inhibit the increase in pH.The results showed that application effect is outstanding when the 201×4 resin application rate is 2%,and mix with peat in 1:1.5 ratio.Compared with the CK,the content of water-soluble Na+in soil decreased by 21.41%,the content of water-soluble Cl-decreased by 34.36%,the content of water-soluble SO42-decreased by 87.88%and the content of total soluble salt in soil decreased by 30.64%.The soil pH decreased by 0.78compared with the single application of 201×4 resin.In conclusion,201×4 strongly alkaline styrene anion exchange resin is a good polymer material for passivating soil salt-based ions.Based on its alkaline,mixing it with peat in 1:1.5 ratio could be used as the formulation to improve saline-alkali soil in the future.
