With the continuous progress and development of manufacturing technology,laser cutting technology plays an important role in many industries with unique advantages.In this paper,aiming at the application of laser cutting technology in the field of metal sheet,the development course of laser cutting machine technology is studied.The optimization scheme of the motion control system of laser cutting machine is put forward in combination with the the advantages of the Beckhoff CNC system.The main contents of the paper are as follows:The key technologies of laser cutting are investigated,and the development and characteristics of open CNC system at home and abroad are analyzed and summarized.Combined with the requirements of user control,the influence of laser processing parameters is studied,and the overall block diagram of laser cutting machine motion control system is worked out.Aiming at the part of the motion control system of the laser cutting machine,this paper introduces the communication mode of TwinCAT 3 software and the PLC programming language on the basis of selecting the development platform of the Beckhoff system.Then the module composition and function of the motion control system are analyzed.Then the basic CNC framework of the PLC program is discussed.Finally,the special module of the laser cutting is proposed and functions of the following motion of Z axis,power control and automatic edge searching are studied and designed in detail.Aiming at the part of human-machine interface of the laser cutting machine,firstly,the principle of the software interface design is clarified,and the module of the human-machine interface of the laser cutting machine is put forward based on it.Then the tool of the interface is introduced and the advantages of the C# language are analyzed.Then the communication mode and data exchanges between the TwinCAT 3 automation software and the humanmachine interface is explained.Finally,several modules of human-machine interface are described in detail: technological parameters,programming,auxiliary function,state display and system management module.After the realization of the basic function of the software,the platform of the laser cutting machine control system is built,and the feasibility of the hardware equipment operation is verified under the environment of TwinCAT 3.Then the basic functions of the human-machine interface and the NC codes are tested.Finally,the laser cutting experiment is carried out to verify the performance index of the control system by testing the cutting quality.The test results show that the control system and human-machine interface based on the system can meet the production demand of laser cutting machine.
