With the rapid development of China's economy,the required resources are also increasing.Therefore,the facilities for smelting metal or nonmetal tailings reservoirs are increasing year by year.The tailings is used for a large amount of tailings produced after the smelting ore storage places,generally by the initial dam and dam drainage system and so on.The drainage system has two main functions: one is to be discharged in heavy rain;two is as base with clear water recycling tailings.If the design of drainage facility,layout,and the bad of unblocked condition are easy to cause the failure of drainage system,the flood can not be removed from the warehouse in time,and are easy to cause break accident.Therefore,the numerical simulation of the tailings pond drainage system,drainage system,analysis of flood discharge capacity,flow velocity and wall pressure,to evaluate the safety of the situation,to ensure the safe operation of tailings.It has important practical significance.In this paper,based on the fluid mechanics theory,a 3D numerical model of the tailings pond drainage system,the drainage system of flood discharge safety were analyzed,mainly include the following contents:The first is numerical simulation analysis by using the method of Fluent,and compared with the test results of Martin,to verify the accuracy and feasibility of the numerical simulation,prove that this method can be used for the drainage system of tailings discharge safety flow numerical simulation;The second is taking a tailings drainage system as an example,to establish a 3D numerical model of the tailings pond drainage system using three-dimensional modeling software,using a large general CFD software Fluent hydraulics analysis and verification of the drainage system of the tailings,the specific contents are as follows:(1)The results of theoretical calculation and numerical simulation of drainage system of discharge capacity analysis,to verify the reasonable of the structural design of drainage system,and the ability of drainage system design and check the frequency of rainstorm and flood vent flow;(2)Simulation analysis of different crest level and different water discharge head,change the flow pattern within the drainage system,with the head becomes larger,the drainage wells,tube flow pattern from a stable state to change the conclusion,visible water discharge head impact on the flow pattern of drainage system in the obvious;(3)To simulate the different crest level and different water discharge head,flow velocity changes within the drainage system,the drainage system of the head to head higher,the flow velocity increased,and the local drainage pipe easily flowing state,easy to cause erosion damage results;(4)Analysis of the different crest level and different water discharge head,change of drainage system of inner wall pressure,the head is small,no obvious negative pressure drainage system,water head large,drainage wells,pipe joints and other locations,there are different degrees of negative pressure,if the pressure is too large,easy to cause the drainage system cavitation,endanger the safety of drainage system of conclusion,visible water discharge head to the drainage system of wall pressure.Finally,suggestions for the safe operation of the drainage system,according to the safety management of tailings and puts forward some targeted measures,involving the safety management measures,technical measures and control measures,to ensure the normal operation of drainage system.
