| There are a large number of tailings dams in China,and the geographical location of some tailings dams is very important.Once a dam break accident occurs,it will bring immeasurable losses to the lives and property of the downstream people and the surrounding environment.The failure of flood discharge and the lack of discharge capacity of tailings dams are the main causes of tailings dam accidents.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out hydraulic model tests on some large tailings dams before construction.This thesis takes the flood drainage system of a tailings reservoir in Sichuan as the research background,and adopts the method of hydraulic model test and numerical simulation.By changing the height of the water head on the drainage well weir,the discharge capacity,the flow pattern of typical parts,pressure characteristics are analyzed,and the rationality of the design is obtained.Through a series of comparative test analysis,the results are as follows :(1)Through the observation of the flow pattern at different weir head heights,the variation law of the flow pattern at the inlet of the drainage well,the shaft,the stilling well,the main hole and the 4-2 # branch hole is obtained to determine whether there is a bad flow pattern.(2)The discharge of the drainage well at different heights is measured,and the empirical formula between the head on the weir and the discharge is obtained by fitting the experimental data.(3)The variation law of the average pressure and fluctuating pressure of the sidewall of the shaft and the bottom plate of the stilling well at different heights of the drainage well is obtained.The pulsation frequency of the stilling well bottom plate is analyzed to determine whether it has resonance damage with the building.(4)In this thesis,the fluid mechanics control equation,turbulence model,discretization and free surface technology in computational fluid dynamics(CFD)are described in detail.The three-dimensional numerical simulation of the special parts of the flood drainage system is carried out.The results are in good agreement with the experimental results.The hydraulic model test verifies the accuracy of the numerical simulation results,indicating that CFD can be applied to the study of the flood drainage system of the tailings reservoir. |
