Study On Sustainable Utilization Of Water Resources In Qinyuan County

The current shortage of water resources is of great concern to the society.Water ecological footprint can truly reflect the demand and actual occupancy of water resources in a region and country.The assessment of water resources health can reflect whether the current ecological environment in the region meets the requirements for sustainable development..This paper takes Qinyuan County of Shanxi Province in the source area of the Qinhe River as the research object,and on the basis of classifying the relevant statistical data from 2006 to 2015 in the whole county,analyzes the features of ten years of water resources development and utilization in the county;the dynamics of water ecological footprints;and using the analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy evaluation methods to assess the health status of water resources throughout the county.The research results provide scientific basis for the sustainable development and utilization of water resources in the county and the industrial structure planning.The specific findings are as follows:(1)Characteristics of water resources development and utilization in Qinyuan County from 2006 to 2015The average annual water use of Qinyuan County is 219,208,800m3/a,the average annual domestic water consumption of urban residents is171.4797 million m3,and the average annual domestic water consumption of rural residents is 30,743,000m3,accounting for 7.82% and 14.02% of the total domestic water consumption,respectively.The production water consumption accounted for 78.16% of the total water consumption.The water consumption of the primary industry,secondary industry,and tertiary industry accounted for 41.3%,33.83%,and 3.03% of the total water consumption.This shows that the water demand for agricultural production is high.In industrial production,and the overall use of water for the primary industry and secondary industry showed an overall growth trend,the growthrate in 2011 was maximized,which was 231.94% and 37.42% respectively.(2)Ten-year water ecological footprint dynamics and ecological carrying capacity of Qinyuan CountyThe sustainable increase in water resources carrying capacity from 2006 to 2015 is mainly due to the fact that the annual precipitation increases year by year.It can be seen that the weather conditions in Qinyuan County have been optimized and the ecological environment has become more healthy;the total ecological footprint of water resources in Qinyuan County in 2006-In2012,the situation showed a continuous increase.It can be seen that the local demand for water resources has gradually increased,and the scope of use of water resources has also increased.It has decreased slightly from 2013 to2015,and the industrial water ecological footprint has grown from 2006 to2015.The proportion of total water resources in the footprint continues to increase,while the ecological footprint of agricultural water continues to decline.(3)Water Resources Health Assessment in Qinyuan CountyThe comprehensive health score of the water resources utilization status in Qinyuan County is good,that is to say,the overall status of Qinyuan County is relatively healthy and basically belongs to the scope of sustainable development.The specific performance is that the local ecological environment is good,not only per capita water resources.And biodiversity is in a dominant position.Greenland area and forest coverage rate are high,and the sewage discharge indicators are in line with national requirements.In addition,the socio-economic development trend of Qinyuan County is generally stable,and the population density is low.The per capita GDP meets the needs of residents.(4)Threats and Countermeasures for Sustainable Development of Water ResourcesComparing the results of water ecological footprints and health assessment of water resources utilization,it can be known that Qinyuan County has been in a state of deficit of water resources in recent years,butdue to its own ecological advantages,that is,the total amount of water resources and good ecological environment,leading to overall evaluation.The results show that it is currently in a relatively healthy state,but from a sustainable long-term perspective,Qinyuan County should implement water resources control measures to improve the current status of water resources utilization and properly resolve the conflicts between water and water supply,such as strengthening the construction of water conservancy facilities.Establish a sewage treatment plant to enhance the recycling of water resources.
