In the development of human society, land resources play a very important role, directly related to human production and life and the steady progress of various economic construction. In order to give full play to the important role of land resources in the process of economic development,we must recognize the importance of the management of land resources, especially the sustainable management of the land.At present, there are many problems in the management of land resources, including pollution, unreasonable development and so on,which have greatly destroyed the land resources, and then affect the sustainable management of land resources. At present,Wuhan has actively adopted corresponding measures for land resources management, and has played a good role in sustainable management to a certain extent. However, the problems of land resources sustainable management are still very prominent, which makes land resources difficult to achieve the goal of sustainable management.Under such circumstances, how to effectively speed up the sustainable management of land resources has become a pressing concern for Wuhan. This paper analyzes by literature analysis, case analysis and longitudinal comparison. The sustainable management of land resources in Wuhan is taken as a case study. The speed of urbanization in Wuhan is speeding up,and the construction of urban infrastructure is also in full swing. Therefore, the management situation of agricultural land and construction land change is constantly changing, and the contradiction between agricultural land and construction land management is becoming more and more prominent. Therefore,it is necessary to evaluate and analyze the sustainable management of land resources in Wuhan.Through the analysis of the factors of the sustainable management of land resources in Wuhan, and the change table of land use data for agricultural land and construction land, the status of the sustainable management of land resources in Wuhan is discussed. Then, based on the five principles of land production, stability, protection, economic feasibility and social acceptability, the 21 index evaluation system for the sustainable management of land resources in Wuhan is set up,the different indexes are standardized, the weights are determined by Delphy Fa,and then the multiple factors are weighted and synthesized. The assessment results of sustainability of land resources in Wuhan are given. The results showed that the land resources in Wuhan were in the unsustainable range from 2008 to 2013(<0.5).From 2014 to 2016,the land resources were in the range of some sustainable development(0.7-0.85).In this period, the level of sustainable management of land resources in Wuhan was rising year by year. But in general, the sustainable management of land resources in Wuhan still has much room for improvement. At the same time, through further analysis, the problems in the sustainable management of land resources in Wuhan are mainly manifested in these aspects:the decline of cultivated land quality, the serious pollution of cultivated land, the unreasonable land exploitation and utilization, the continuous reduction of the cultivated land area, the contradiction between human and land and the intensification of the contradiction between the construction land and the agricultural land. The structure of urban and rural land use is not scientific. In order to solve these problems, this paper puts forward some countermeasures to improve the protection of the quality of cultivated land, rationally adjust the structure of land use,the scientific planning of land management and the system construction,so as to improve the sustainable management level of the land resources in Wuhan..
