Taxonomic Study On The Lichen Genus Lobaria Of Hengduan Mountains,China

In this study,two thousand and five hundred specimens of Lobaria from Hengduan Mountains were examined,based on the conventional morphology,chemical characters and combined molecular(ITS fragments)taxonomy.Specimens are preserved in the herbarium of Kunming Institute of Botany,Chinese Academy of Sciences(KUN)and the Shandong Normal University(SDNU).Thallus mediumsized to large,reticulately ridged on dorsal surface,sometimes has isidia,soredia or lobules.The apothecia are zeorine type or lecanorine type.The innovation of this paper is analyzed the relationship between the main phenotypic characteristics and phylogeny.Meanwhile,the traditional phenotypic classification results are verified at the gene level.Following results are concluded: 1.Morphology,chemistry and phylogenetics of 18 Lobaria species are described;2.Three new taxa: Lobaria hengduanensis C.C.Miao & Li S.Wang,Lobaria imrugulosa C.C.Miao & Li S.Wang and Lobaria latilobulata C.C.Miao & Li S.Wang;3.Discuss the species of Lobaria yulongensis;4.Redescribe the main characters of Lobaria chinensis,Lobaria orientalis and Lobaria yunnanensis;5.Discusss the influence between Lobaria and the environment;6.A detailed description of each species is present,along with a key to all the species from Hengduan Mountains,China.
