The thesis is mainly focused on the systematic study of 11 ennomine genera(Lepidoptera: Gemetroidea: Geometridae: Ennominae)from China, which are Obeidia-group,Euryobeidia,Opisthograptis,Sirinopteryx,and Plutodes. It is divided into two parts, the general introduction and the systematics. The general introduction are composed by three chapters.Chapter 1 introduced the classifications of the Geometridae and the systematic position, and simply reviewed the domestic and foreign research history of Ennominae, especially in the 11 genera.Chapter 2 briefly introduced the materials, methods and terms used in the dissertation.Chapter 3 summarized the morphological characters of adult and the genitalia of male and female in brief. In the systematics part,11 genera and 48 species were described on the basis of examining the photographs of a majority of type specimens, and the diagnostic characters and the keys of each genus and species were provided.Among them, the genus Obeidia recorded 2 species and 3 subspecies; The genus Subobeidia recorded 1 species; The genus Microbeidia described 2 species; The genus Postobeidia recorded 3 species; The genus Epobeidia recorded 3 species and 6 subspecies; The genus Controbeidia recorded 1 species; The genus Parobeidia recorded 3 species; The genus Euryobeidia recorded 5 species; The genus Opisthograptis recorded 10 species(including 2 subspecies); The genus Sirinopteryx recorded 7 species; The genus Plutodes recorded 11 species.Three new species were described: Euryobeidia quadrata Xiang & Han,2017,Euryobeidia ellipsoidea Xiang & Han,2017 and Euryobeidia incrassata Xiang & Han,2017.Two subspecies of Parobeidia were raised to species-rank: Parobeidia longimacula(Wehrli,1939)stat.nov.and Parobeidia marginifascia(Prout,1914)stat.nov.A lectotype for P.gigantearia is designated out of the syntype-series deposited at the NHM,London. The species Plutodes transmutata Walker,1861 and Plutodes subcaudata Butler,1880 are newly recorded for China. The illustrations of external features and genitalia are provided.
