In recent years,geographic information system has been widely used in urban planning and construction as main means to storage,query,display,analysis of geographic information.Meanwhile,as the field of digital technology,information technology developing,geotechnical engineering of the city is gradually coming from traditional manually output to information technology and visual management stage.Aiming to Shenyang geotechnical analysis of the integrated information management and regional analysis requirement,a regional engineering geology database was established and a multi-system of several visual information management systems was coupled based on the spatial database technology,geographic information technology,and 3D geological modeling technology.Depending on those technologies,the status of the individual was changed which can only be achieved with existing software management.Meanwhile,the centralized management of regional data was realized and a multi-coupling modeling system was analyzed,by which the distribution of the reaction zone and soil engineering geological information can be revealed.All in all,a better comprehensive modeling and analysis system for large area engineering requirements was satisfied,which were used to help improve Shenyang geotechnical engineering data management urban planning and construction of reasonable efficiency.This paper solves several problems as follows:1)Based on general topography and geological conditions,combined with the existing batch of geotechnical engineering exploration data,standard geological soil unicode for Shen Yang was designed,which is applied to regional geological modeling and a comprehensive analysis of geological conditions.It turns out that it is conductive to the relevant departments understanding and overall planning of the entire city.2)Based on existing geotechnical engineering survey data,related geotechnical engineering specifications and spatial database design method,Shenyang engineering geology database was established.The existing 82 geotechnical engineering spatial and attribute datasets were imported and data pretreatment of a unified coordinate system was realized.3)By object-oriented programming techniques,Shenyang geotechnical information management system was established based on secondary development Arc Engine,which was available to manage,analyze,utilize geological project data.Integrated management of geotechnical engineering information,three-dimensional visualization modeling,profile analysis and multi-system coupling professional engineering cartography and joint multi-platform visualization were achieved.As a result,the isolated,dispersed geological data was converted into useful information.In a other word,those data can be further utilized with its potential usefulness.In this paper,the developed Shenyang geotechnical information system has been adopted in the The Engineering Technology Company of China Metallurgical Shen Kan and proved with sound effects.The system construction processes,methods and techniques for information management proposed in this paper have a certain significance and promotional value in geotechnical engineering and urban planning related fields.
