Research On Data Quality Evaluation Of OSM Map Based On

In recent years,with the development of Web2.0 technology and the popularity of mobile devices,volunteers through the map site online mapping and upload data to become a trend,such as OpenStreetMap(OSM)is one of the typical application.OSM creates a world map that allows everyone to edit and upload map data,and the data is open source and can be downloaded free of charge.However,OSM map data is provided by volunteers,who are often non-professionals,lack of adequate mapping training,and the quality of map data cannot be guaranteed.Therefore,before applying OSM map data to daily life and research,the quality must be evaluated and analyzed.In this paper,the quality of OSM map data is studied deeply.The main contents are as follows:According to the relevant documents and data of reading data quality,the quality dimension of OSM map dataset is determined based on ISO 19100 geographic information quality standard,Dimensional index system.On the basis of the dimension index system,the basic idea of AHP is used to establish a novel framework for evaluating the quality of OSM map data.The framework includes evaluation index,evaluation model,evaluation process and weight set of OSM map data quality,At the same time,two quantifiable scoring algorithms are proposed.Due to the less evaluation of topological consistency of OSM map data,this paper has been evaluated specifically for topology consistency.In this paper,ArcGIS software on the Windows platform to complete the evaluation of objects and test objects,the corresponding algorithm using JAVA language experiments.In this paper,the OSM map data set in Kunming is used as the evaluation object,and the mapping map of Kunming in 2014 is taken as the reference set.The difference of the two data sets is evaluated by experiments.The final quality score of OSM map data in Kunming is given.Experimental results show that the quality of Kunming OSM map data set is not good,can only be used in daily life,not suitable for professional level of map applications.This paper puts forward that the quality evaluation index system,model and evaluation method are very versatile and can be applied to the quality research of OSM map data set in other cities.
