The Analytic Hierarchy Process Based On Vague Sets And The Application Of The Process

In the paper, the analytic hierarchy process based on vague sets is proposed and is applied on decision-making problems. The main contents may be summarized as follows:1. The definitions of fuzzy sets and vague sets are studied.2. The analytic hierarchy process and the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process are discussed. The methods of the consistency, correction and sorting of the fuzzy judgment matrix are summarized, rationality and the effect of these method are analyzed.3. The method of vague sets approaching to fuzzy sets and the related properties are discussed. The concept of the complementary judgment matrix based on vague value is proposed. The model of the analytic hierarchy process based on vague sets is established and the process is applied on the choice of supplier of the library.
