The majority of ore deposits have experienced multiple stages of diagenesis and mineralization which can be described as a mathematical model of mixed total screening.The probability graphs is an effective tool to estimate the periods of the mineralization.The author used this method to screen the ore-forming elements.According to the principle of probability curve,if the data divided into two groups which represents two stages of mineralization exists.The Huogeqi deposit is located in Langshan district-in the west sector of the north margin of North China platform,which is an important polymetallic metallogenic belt in North China and Inner Mongolia.It is the largest copper polymetallic deposit in Inner Mongolia.There are three main medium-large scale ore deposits in the mining area.Geologic position controls the orebodies obviously.Its ore bodies and mineralization is mainly distributes in the second Langshan group in hydrothermal sedimentary silicalite and hydrothermal metasomatic marl.The ore field is characterized by complicated structure,showing titling with strong faulting and folding.The main fold is the Huogeqi syncline,whic is formed with a blind anticline and two overturned syncline.In this paper,8 prospecting lines with 12295 ore-forming elements were screened-65 pieces of probabilitygraph were plotted.According to the cumulative probability curve chart,the graphs have a significant inflection point and the author found out the effective number was "1" after several times of transformation group interval mapping.Based on background research carried out by Zenmin Peng and other researchers on inclusion test,ore formation,structure as well as the chalcopyrite,pyrite,sphalerite under microscope,the result shows the formation of deposits was experienced at least two periods of mineralization.A preliminary judge was the submarine exhalative-sedimentary mineralization and late reformation,and the ore-forming materials sources were not from a single source.
