Research On Quality Evaluation And Spatial Pattern Of The New Urbanization In Jiangsu Province

Urbanization is the essential way for social and economic development.It is also an important experience for various countries to achieve industrialization and modernization goals.The development level of urbanization reflects the comprehensive development level of a country and a region to some extent.At present,China's urbanization has entered the critical period and transition period of development,and it is an inevitable trend to persist in advancing the new-type urbanization of socialism with Chinese characteristics.The optimization of China's urban structure system should be based on accelerating the development of small and medium-sized cities.As an important component,the development of new urbanization is conducive to enhancing the integration of rural and urban areas and promoting the coordinated development of urban and rural areas.Jiangsu Province has obvious advantages in the economic development of China's coastal areas.The development of its new type of urbanization has a demonstration effect on other regions.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the quality and spatial pattern of new urbanization in the county.First,on the basis of defining the connotation of new urbanization and the quality of new urbanization,the article construct a new urbanization quality evaluation index system in terms of population transformation,urban space,economic development,social construction,and ecological environment.The mean square error weight method was used to measure the quality of new urbanization.The results show that the urbanization level of the counties in Jiangsu Province has significant spatial differentiation.The South Jiangsu Province plays a leading and exemplary role in the development of new urbanization in Jiangsu Province,while the quality of new urbanization in the counties in the Central Jiangsu Province has increased rapidly;The average urbanization rate and the new urbanization quality scores have three types: high-high,high-low,and low-low.Based on spatial econometric analysis techniques,an empirical study was conducted on the influencing factors of new urbanization in the counties of Jiangsu Province.The regression results show that economic growth has a greater impact on the development of new urbanization,fixed asset investment,the proportion of secondary and tertiary industries,and foreign trade dependence.Both degrees have a significant positive impact on the development of county-level urbanization,but the urban-rural gap has a significant negative effect on the development of county-level urbanization.Secondly,on the basis of combing the spatial pattern of urbanization development,based on the quality score of new urbanization in Jiangsu Province,and drawing maps by using arcgis10.2 to summarize the spatial pattern of Southern Jiangsu,Northern Jiangsu,areas of Yangtze River,and coastal areas.It can be divided into a network-based space development model,a multi-center development model,an axis development model,and a point-axis development model.Finally,aiming at the problems existing in the development of the new urbanization in the county areas of Jiangsu Province,the paper proposes the optimized ways to promote the development of urbanization in the county areas of Jiangsu Province: deepening the reform of the new urbanization system;developing county urbanization according to local conditions;coordinating the promotion of new urbanization and regional development;optimizing the spatial pattern of new urbanization.
