Research On The Schedule Control Of X Cable Project In China Telecom Of Shenyang Branch

In recent years,more and more companies begin to use the project management to improve the management level and the market competitiveness,therefore,they use the project management tools and methods to reduce costs,shorten the duration of the construction and quickly respond to the market demands.This is the fundamental guarantee to improve market core competitiveness.However,to the communication operator,the communication engineering construction project is a complex system.All kinds of influence factors in the communication project schedule management run through the whole process of the implementation.There is no doubt that schedule management is an important part of the communication project management.So the method of effectively control the communication project and the usage of the control method are of great importance.The object of my study is the schedule control of X cable project in China Telecom of Shenyang Branch.Through the breakdown of the project's work structure,the author formulates the table of Work Breakdown Structures,estimates the duration of the activity,confirms the working relationship among the project activities,draws the picture of Activity-On-Node and ensures the critical path of the project.Through a series of analysis of the project's schedule,the author finds the problems which exist in the project's schedule control.Therefore,the author analyzes the causes and puts forward solutions to the problems.Through the study of the project schedule control's method and the analysis of the problems existing in the project schedule control.the author discovers the critical path method and uses it as the theoretical method of the project schedule control.The theoretical method can play a positive role in the analysis and control of the project's schedule,effectively guarantee the quality and time of the project's completion,timely find the problems in the construction of the communication engineering project and strengthen the competitive ability of the company in the international engineering market.In addition,the related research results are of referential significance to the other companies in the management of the cable project's schedule control.
