With the intelligent terminal manufacturing industry's increasing demand for semiconductor chips,as well as the implementation of the national production localization strategy on semiconductor chips, the semiconductor electronic grade gas,as one of the most significant materials applied in the hi-tech electronics manufacturing industry,is increasingly focused by the industry.Considering the weak manufacturing capacity and the lack of intellectual property rights, semiconductor electronic grade gas production enterprises in China cannot independently develop and produce products satisfying the manufacturing requirements for integrated circuits in a short period, and they still rely on selling imported products and materials as an agency to support their operation.Such heavy reliance on import has caused fierce homogeneous competition, and the profitability of most enterprises always stays at a low level due to various restrictions such as the intellectual property right barrier, which enables domestic enterprises in the industry to improve their own market competitiveness by optimizing their management from the logistics link.Being in the start-up stage,Dinghe is also dying to improve its logistics management level.Accordingly,at the very beginning, the paper uses the logistics activity-based costing method to help them to identify the logistics value-added activities,i.e.,the transportation and inventory control, and demonstrates that the two are the main sources to support enterprises to create benefits.Secondly, through the analysis of the current transportation solution and inventory control solution of Dinghe,it is found that its unreasonable logistics management methods, result in a problem that the total logistics cost is high. And then the paper analyzes the causes of above problems which are unreasonable transportation scheme and unscientific ordering scheme. They caused the profitability, logistics fund utilization and market competitiveness reduced.Based on above analysis, the paper further puts forward the optimization scheme for transportation and inventory control. The scheme includes two aspects: for one hand,it puts forward the product transportation scheme at the minimum transportation cost using the transportation model method mentioned in the operational research theory, which not only makes the formulation scheme for transportation plan flexibly deal with the demand changes, but also effectively reduces the transportation cost of enterprises;for the other hand,it accurately calculates the optimum inventory control scheme at the minimum inventory cost using the economic ordering quantity model in various inventory control methods to optimize the ordering and inventory management of enterprises, which not only improves the customer service response speed and logistics operation efficiency, but also increases the core competitiveness and economic efficiency of enterprises. Finally, the paper compares and analyzes the prediction effectiveness before and after the implementation of the optimization scheme, and puts forward the supporting guarantee measures in terms of full-course optimization of logistics cost management and strengthening the staff's logistics performance management awareness respectively.Through the research on Dinghe's transportation and inventory control, this paper summarizes the successful experience of domestic semiconductor electronic grade gas production enterprises in realizing logistics management optimization in actual operation, and expects to provide useful suggestions for domestic semiconductor electronic grade gas enterprises on transportation and inventory management.
