Inventory cost and distribution cost are two important components of enterprise logistics operation cost,so inventory management and distribution management play an extremely important role in supply chain management.Due to the numerous and complicated reality, the difficulty of the research on supply chain inventory and distribution problems increased.in traditional research literature for enterprise or supply chain operation, inventory and distribution is usually apart to be studied. However,"antinomy" effect often exists between inventory and distribution, considering them separately can only achieve supply chain local optimum,it is difficult to obtain the overall optimal effect,so it is necessary that both joint is optimized in order to obtain a higher profit. On the basis of reviewing relevant theories, make a research on a non-integrated supply chain consisting of a single supplier and a single retailer. It is divided into two cases:regardless of price discounts and considering price discounts on the premise of quantity flexible delivery.Establish the profit model that the transportation cost is respectively borne by the supplier the retailer. Then, design the solution algorithm to find the optimal solution, and use numerical examples and sensitivity analysis to discuss the impact of the relevant parameters in the model on the optimal order quantity and the supply chain profit of each model, and to make decisions when integrating the supply chain. As a reference, provide advice and guidance on how to run the supply chain more efficiently and effectively. With the help of the above model,it can be concluded that retailers can make the profits of the supply chain closer to the ideal situation when undertaking transportation costs, ensure the growth of supply chain profits, and realize the purpose of jointly optimizing inventory and transportation.
