Research On The Control Of Cost In The Design Of Construction Engineering Project

When the decision-making of construction engineering investment is determined,the design becomes the key stage that determines the engineering cost.According to statistics,the design phase exerts more than 80% impact on engineering cost.The cost has been out of control for a long term in the construction projects in China.Thus,construction engineering cost control is the key point of the construction project management,and design phase is an important stage of construction cost control.Therefore,higher requirements are put forward for engineering design;not only the construction cost of the project but also the total project life cycle cost in the design should be considered.In order to achieve the desired social benefits and investment benefits,it is particularly important to strengthen the cost control of engineering design phase.In the paper,analysis is conducted from the angle of theory and engineering cases.Based on the comprehensive analysis of related theory of engineering design phase cost control and the status quo of design phase cost control of domestic construction engineering,the causes for the problems in construction engineering design phase cost control of enterprise M are analyzed.Besides,corresponding countermeasures are proposed.Finally,by taking construction engineering B as an example,the optimization measures proposed in the paper are applied in the design phase cost control of other projects.By comparing the application results,the validity of the optimization measures is proved.The research results in the paper can provide certain theoretical basis and guidance for the design phase cost management of construction engineering projects in China.
