Research On Risk Management Of The X Software Project In A Company

Risk means probability of the unfortunate incident.It is objective,universal and exits whenever everywhere.Risk usually means loss.It is important to identify risks,prevent them and reduce the loss in enterprise management.Risk management is the study management of an emerging science.It is the process of controlling risk and reducing loss through risk identification,risk estimation and risk decision.In software project management,the risk management relates to the success or failure of the entire project.Software project offen delay or fail due to some unexpected risk.Although,risk management is so important,but in the actual software project management,people often don't know how to implement risk management effectively and make the risk management become a mere formality,don't work.A company,I works in,is A specialized enterprise engaged in software development and consulting service.With the development of the company,the company undertakes more big and complex project.At the same time the company has to face more project risk.To this end,the company needs an effective risk management plan to identify and control the project risk and guarantee the healthy development of the company.Now,the company is implementing the X software project for a insurance company.The project both in size and complexity is very important for the A company.How to carry on the risk management for the project and to ensure the progress of the project is one of the major problems to facce for the company.After consulting A large number about risk management documents,I made a simple but practical risk management plan for the X project based on years of experience in project implementation and common risk management processes and methods.First,I do a sample introduction related to the basic concept of risk management.Then,I identified the risks for the project with risk checklist and brainstorming method,and then evaluated them with the commonly used risk assessment matrix method after analyzing the requirements,environment and resources.Finally,I focused on the important risk and alalyzed them deeply,and then I made the corresponding risk coping strategies and to track them in the project implementation.This paper can be used to guide A company X software project risk management.At the same time,I hope this topic research will be helpful for those company managers who are exploring,implement or improve the software project risk management.
