| Chinese economy has achieved long-term and steady development in the 21 th Century,Labor cost is getting higher and higher accompanied by rapid and stable economic growth,The demand for aerial work platforms is growing which can significantly improve the efficiency of labor and construction safety.In China,Many companies joined the aerial work platform industry in recent years,Manufacturing capacity has made great progress.TEREX(Changzhou)Machinery Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as TEREX)is the only production base of TEREX aerial work platform division located in China,The company founded in 2010 mainly produces aerial work platform equipment,including Genie series of straight arm,crank,scissors and other categories of 31 kinds of aerial work platform products.This paper aims to improve the quality of product manufacturing by mainly used total quality management theory and tools,and conducts a special study on the quality improvement of the product manufacturing of the research object following the research logic of Status quo,problem search and cause analysis,put forward countermeasures.First of all,this paper introduces the operation of the currently quality management system and the status of assembly process quality control,Collects the FPY quality data of the end product of the assembly line and the firewall quality data of the unused stage at the customer PDI site to characterize the quality of the product.Secondly,Using QC seven tools to analyze the causes of product quality problems,Including: the poor supplier quality management,the unreasonable quality management structure,weak staff quality management awareness,unable to keep up with the staff training mechanism during to the improvement of the production,as well as the management of the process control weak,Finally provide the corresponding security measures,make the optimization scheme is able to run smoothly.Based on a comprehensive problem finding and analysis of reasons,Research and put forward the method of product quality improvement,mainly: First,to improve supplier developed and approved process,update current FAI(first article inspection)and PPAP process,second to adjust the company’s quality management structure and increase the quality of the process control.Followed,in the same time,improve internal paint process quality by 6Sigma tooling,The third need to enhance process quality audit and ensure that product requirements to implement the front line.The fourth,to reinforce the quality of corporate culture by the introduction of quality path map,at last,to introduce Pork-yoke measures participation and minimize the quality of the assembly process of new employees through the anti-error method and other means.at the same time to provide a sound information communication mechanism and training system,as well as to establish security measures of quality management culture. |
